DropUP @ RUYI&Lyn In Aid of SPCA Selangor
In celebrating the Chinese New Year of the Earth Dog, Drop KL Bar & Lounge Sdn Bhd (Drop KL) is collaborating with RUYI & Lyn and Go International Group Dotcom to present DropUP – a pop-up an exclusive 6-course Modern American dining ‘pop-up’ experience in aid of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Selangor (SPCA Selangor) for its Stray Free Selangor campaign. All proceeds raised in this fundraising event will benefit SPCA Selangor.
About the Charity: SPCA Selangor was established in 1958 and is an integrated animal welfare society based in Ampang Jaya. The aim of the SPCA is to protect defenseless animals and to alleviate their suffering. This campaign will support its Stray Free Selangor campaign: http://www.spca.org.my/what-we-do/stray-free-selangor/.

About the Event: This novel event, Drop UP @ RUYI & Lyn for SPCA Selangor is a pop-up event by Drop KL and marks the maiden journey to tantalising Malaysians’ tastebuds with its innovative style of wining and dining hospitality. Diners will also partake in the RUYI & Lyn Prosperity Toss Yee Sang for good fortune and longevity in the Year of the Dog. Be entertained by American singer and Celebrity Ambassador of the SPCA, Donne Ray Radford. Donne was once lead singer of The Platters (1986-1992) in Las Vegas, USA.
Meals are pork-free and are accompanied by cocktails and natural wine pairings. Non-alcoholic or special dietary requests must be informed at the time of booking.

Entry “fee”: To kickstart 2018, we would like set a challenge to all you animal lovers to fundraise for SPCA. Each diner donates RM500 to secure a seat at the exclusive dinner (valued at RM1200). Then, create your own fundraising page by clicking on the red “Start Fundraising” button, making it easy to circulate to your friends and family in supporting SPCA. We have the following categories:
- Diamond: If you raise or donate a minimum of RM988, you will receive – 2 seats at the dinner on 10th January 2018; a RM100 SPCA voucher^; a RM100 dining voucher* at Drop KL; a RM100 dining voucher* at RUYI & Lyn. (SOLD OUT!)
- Platinum: If you raise or donate a minimum of RM500, you will receive – 1 seat at the dinner on 10th January 2018; a RM100 SPCA voucher^; a RM100 dining voucher* at Drop KL; a RM100 dining voucher* at Ruyi & Lyn. (SOLD OUT!)
- Gold: If you raise or donate a minimum of RM388, you will receive: a RM100 SPCA voucher^; a RM100 dining voucher* at Drop KL. (ON SALE)
- Any donation amount is also welcomed!
IMPORTANT NOTE: Only the first 15 people that donate a minimum of RM500 per person by 8th January will be guaranteed a seat at the Drop UP dinner on 10th January at RUYI & Lyn. The person who raises the highest amount of donations will be rewarded with dinner for two at Drop KL. So you can continue to fundraise throughout January and February for the SPCA until the last day of Chinese New Year on 2 March 2018. Tax deductible receipts will be provided by email and mail to participating donors upon request.
We’d like to thank ALL donors in advance as 100% of the funds will be channeled towards the SPCA Stray Free Selangor campaign.
